SUMMARY:&nbsp; This CNC Machinist – Class A position is responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.&nbsp; 1st and 2nd shift positions available (with 2nd shift differential)ESSENTIAL DUTIES:<ul><li>Set-up and run multi-axis CNC lathes.</li><li>Inspect own work and make any off-set changes as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.</li><li>Use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.</li><li>Change any tools required and hold tight tolerances.</li><li>Meet production schedules and quality standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot own work and assist others with set-up and/or production difficulties.</li></ul>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>3-5 years’ experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes</li><li>Swiss Turn experience a +</li><li>Must have good shop math skills</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must be very detail oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player.</li><li>Must be able to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.</li></ul>Hourly rate starting at: $34.00
