What you'll be doing

• Set up and program B-axis/4th-axis rotary table work for complex, multi-sided parts
• Independently set up and run Haas horizontal and vertical mills
• Write and edit advanced G&M code, including cutter compensation and canned cycles
• Design and build tooling and fixtures for new and recurring jobs
• Collaborate with engineering on CAD/CAM programming for new parts
• Train and mentor junior operators on the floor
• Maintain and organize the shop's USB program library
• Support sales and estimating with technical input on new work

Machines, controls and software

Haas horizontal and vertical milling centers, including 4th-axis/B-axis rotary tooling, running Haas controls. CAD/CAM collaboration is part of the role; no specific CAM package is required.

What we're looking for

Required:

• 3+ years of CNC milling experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T
• Own standard machinist hand tools and precision inspection equipment
• U.S. citizenship
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment — dust, moderate noise, and lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally

Preferred:

• 7+ years of CNC milling experience (senior level)
• Advanced G&M programming experience, including cutter compensation and canned cycles
• B-axis/4th-axis rotary table setup and programming experience
• Experience training or mentoring other machinists
• CAD/CAM collaboration experience

Pay, benefits and schedule

$30–$38 per hour, based on experience. Full-time.
