We are expanding our leadership team and seeking an experienced CNC Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day machining operations and help drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.<h2>Role Summary</h2>The CNC Production Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing CNC machining operations, optimizing workflows, programming complex parts, and mentoring a team of machinists. This position is ideal for a senior CNC professional with strong technical skills and proven leadership experience in a fast-paced production environment.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Set up, program, and operate CNC Mills (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) and CNC Lathes with live tooling and dual spindles.</li><li>Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient throughput.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and train CNC machinists; promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Build and maintain job tracking systems, work instructions, and tool storage/organization methods.</li><li>Program new parts and refine machining strategies using Autodesk Fusion 360 (preferred).</li><li>Design and develop fixtures and workholding solutions for new jobs.</li><li>Support quoting, quality processes, and ISO 9001 / AS9100 framework implementation.</li><li>Manage external vendors, inventory levels, and cost-effective procurement.</li><li>Troubleshoot machining challenges and ensure machines are properly maintained.</li><li>Enforce safety protocols and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>10+ years of CNC machining experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role.</li><li>Strong experience with multi-axis machining, Fusion 360 CAM, and HAAS/Fanuc controls.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability and experience developing machinist teams.</li><li>Background in Lean Manufacturing, workflow optimization, or continuous improvement.</li><li>Mold build experience is a plus.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and machinist documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and safety regulations.</li></ul><h2>Why Join Precision Molding &amp; Machining?</h2><ul><li>Influence shop processes and production outcomes.</li><li>Work with modern equipment and diverse machining projects.</li><li>Engage in continuous improvement and technical innovation.</li><li>Play a key role in shaping the future of CNC operations at a growing company.</li></ul>
