CNC Machinist III (1st Shift)

As a Machinist, you will program, set up and operate CNC machining systems such as mills and lathes, and/or heat treat and power skiving equipment, producing parts for the manufacture of forestry and off-road equipment. The successful candidate will have experience working with measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure machined parts are within the required dimensions and tolerances. When not operating machinery, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the machinery, ensuring all fluids are topped up and clean. Amentum is seeking a 1st shift highly advanced Maintenance Technician III to join our Industrial CNC/Automation Equipment Maintenance team in Springdale, Ohio! Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm; hours may vary based on business demand. This position is responsible to perform troubleshooting, servicing, repairs and documenting the electrical and controls needs of process / production equipment in an industrial environment.
