The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes (and other machines as needed)
  • Load materials and run production jobs
  • Make tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits at the machine
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
  • Hold tight tolerances and maintain consistent part quality
  • Perform in-process inspection using standard measurement tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

This is a hands-on machining role — not just loading parts. You’ll be trusted to keep parts running right.

Machines, Controls & Inspection

You’ll work with equipment such as:

  • Machines: CNC lathes and multi-axis machining equipment
  • Controls: Fanuc or similar CNC controls
  • Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment

  • Various production materials depending on job requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with CNC lathes (setup + operation)
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
  • Understanding of offsets, tooling, and machining processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Reliable and safety-minded

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with multi-axis machining
  • Experience making minor program edits (G-code familiarity)
  • Prior experience in a production machining environment
