Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team! Responsibilities <ul><li>Report to the Independence Tooling Operations Manager and receive direction from the CNC Leader.</li><li>Operate mills and CNC machines to fabricate precise components.</li><li>Strategize machining operations based on specific work orders and detailed blueprints.</li><li>Accurately set up mills, ensuring proper alignment of vices and materials for efficient machining.</li><li>Comply with all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.</li><li>Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery.</li><li>Maintain thorough documentation to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.</li><li>Analyze 3D CAD designs to outline programming sequences and material cutting paths.</li><li>Translate machining instructions into CAM programs.</li><li>Execute job orders and perform necessary calculations.</li><li>Innovate and optimize programming for enhanced operational efficiency.</li><li>Expertly program 3-Axis, 3+2 Axis, and 5 Axis machines using WorkNC software.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Proven expertise in CNC machining and programming.</li><li>Proficiency in operating and programming 3 Axis, 3+2 Axis, and 5 Axis Machines.</li><li>Mandatory experience with WorkNC Programming.</li><li>Knowledge of Fanuc controllers.</li><li>Flexibility to work additional hours when required and manage varying work volumes.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense sectors.</li><li>Competence in Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>Experience operating a variety of machinery including:<ul><li>Devlieg Boring Mill</li><li>Chevaliers with Fanuc controls</li><li>Tarus with Tarus controls</li><li>DN with Fanuc controls</li><li>Haas with Haas controls</li><li>Hermle with Heidenhaim controls</li></ul></li></ul> Benefits <ul><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li><li>Vacation and Holiday pay</li><li>Employer matching 401K</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Flexible Spending Programs (FSAs)</li><li>Short-Term &amp; Long-Term Disability insurance</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li><li>Additional Voluntary Benefit Programs</li><li>Off-site company events &amp; Employee Luncheons</li></ul>Who are we?
