🏭 About JEMMS-Cascade

JEMMS-Cascade is a family-founded manufacturer that has been designing and building engineered fastening solutions in Troy, Michigan, since 1988.

The company was founded by Donald and Susan Galat with a goal of building superior tools for manufacturing and assembly. Today, the next generation of the Galat family continues that work, supplying custom and standard nutrunner attachments to manufacturers around the world.

JEMMS-Cascade serves the automotive, aerospace, construction, agriculture, heavy-equipment, and general industrial markets. Its products help manufacturers solve difficult assembly challenges involving access, quality, safety, traceability, and process control.

Unlike a traditional production machine shop, JEMMS-Cascade brings engineering, precision manufacturing, assembly, testing, and shipping together under one roof. That allows machinists to work directly with Engineering and contribute to specialized products from the initial design through the finished component.

The work can include complex gear-related parts, custom attachment components, challenging CNC lathe setups, and precision features that require strong programming and problem-solving skills. For experienced machinists, this creates an opportunity to do more than run the same production cycle every day.

JEMMS-Cascade offers a stable environment where skilled employees can expand their programming, setup, process-development, and precision-machining capabilities while contributing to products used in demanding manufacturing applications.

👍 Why you’ll like working here

JEMMS-Cascade gives experienced machinists the opportunity to use their full skill set.

You won’t be limited to loading parts and pressing cycle start. Machinists can program, set up, prove out, troubleshoot, inspect, and improve their own work. Engineering and Manufacturing are located in the same facility, making it easier to collaborate directly when solving machining or design challenges.

The work includes specialized components rather than repetitive production parts all day. Depending on the project, you may gain experience with complex CNC turning, gear-related components, live tooling, Y-axis machining, conversational programming, and process improvement.

JEMMS-Cascade also offers a stable first-shift schedule, overtime opportunities, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and room to continue developing your skills. It’s a strong fit for machinists who take pride in owning a job from blueprint through finished part.
