CNC Machinist (Mill)

Our client is a well established CNC precision machining and fabrication business located in Fort Wayne. The business is being primed for explosive growth and to support this growth we are seeking a passionate and driven Cost Estimator. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for custom machining, fabrication, and millwright projects. Cost Estimator - Precision Machining

Position Summary This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers, mills, lathes, and router equipment. The Machine Operator produces quality product according to precise specifications within time constraints. At some locations, this position will also include general warehouse duties such as shipping and receiving. In this position, the employee will work with moderate supervision. CNC Machine Operator I

The Associate Support Specialist, CNC is expected to assist and collaborate on work activities with senior employees regarding CNC programs and tasks in the production areas. This person supports new and existing products along with other technical/administrative tasks involved in the concept and development of product processes and associated systems. Duties are generally prioritized, allowing employee to perform independently, with close supervision, in conformance with written instructions and established schedules. Problems not clearly defined by written directives or instructions are reviewed with supervisor to determine course of action. CAD Operator / CNC Programmer

Job Description Arconic is currently in search of CNC Programmer to join our team in Lethbridge. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities <ul> <li>Works interactively with all Takeoff Technicians, Programmers, Fabrication Supervisor/Engineer, and CNC Machine Operators to provide accurate &amp; efficient programs for standard fabrication of aluminum extrusions for doors and frames.</li> <li>Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure CNC programs meet design intent and production requirements.</li> <li>Create, modify, improve current and new programs. Including: training /sharing knowledge with CNC operators </li> <li>Adjusting G and M codes, speeds/feeds, and other lines of code within a program as needed</li> <li>Ability to independently flex between hardware compatibility check/layout, takeoff, &amp; programming all depending upon workload and current demands. </li> <li>Ability to communicate with customers on a professional level to obtain information to complete the job in a timely fashion. </li> <li>Layout of hardware in AutoCAD or other CNC programs. </li> <li>Order Management</li> <li>Reading of project specific job shop and installation instructions </li> <li>Complete shop orders (KaluCAD takeoff) efficiently and accurately. </li> <li>Release to manufacturing verified amounts of manufactured products and quantities, and vendor supplied products and quantities. </li> <li>Control quality during the manufacturing process and make changes necessary to avoid errors.</li> <li>Collaborate with other team members to solve technical issues and maintain production schedule.</li> <li>Lead regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure operational efficiency and safety.</li> <li>Conduct quality inspections of machined components to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.</li> <li>Adhere to safety procedures and regulations by maintaining safe operations.</li> <li>Proactive Participation in educational opportunities such as machine engineering studies and process improvement </li> <li>Work with toolroom on necessary machining for jigs and fixtures for the CNC machines. </li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications Basic Qualifications <ul> <li>Journeyman Machinist Certification and/or Two years or more post-secondary education in CNC Machining Technology</li> <li>Must have full working ability with CAD/CAM software.</li> <li>Must have full working ability with CNC programming (G and M codes)</li> <li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
