You continually follow safety guidelines when lifting and rigging with the help of managers. Ensuring excellent productivity, you follow a daily schedule as well as plan the tools and materials required for jobs. You repair the shop equipment and assist with fluid changes on computer numerical control (CNC) machines. To repair equipment at a significant height, you safely use lifts. You gain a great sense of accomplishment from competently maintaining the entire facility! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR CNC MACHINE REPAIR TECHNICIAN <ul><li>Experienced machine rebuilder</li><li>Experienced machinery installer</li><li>Installation, examination, inspect, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, facilities, PLC &amp; PID controllers and pipe, and electrical systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot any mechanical and or electrical problems using PLC, ladder diagrams, schematics, PID, etc.</li><li>Cycle equipment or systems to ensure safe and correct operations, to be able to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Set up and safely operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machines to repair or fabricate parts as needed.</li><li>Maintain maintenance areas in a clean and orderly fashion; keep the work area clean at all times.</li><li>Operate a forklift and other heavy machinery whenever applicable after certification.</li><li>Diagnose and repair mechanical. electrical, and software problems on machines and accessories.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>5 plus years' experience, in mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC &amp; manual machines.</li><li>Understanding of CNC equipment</li><li>Extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skill set using preventative maintenance systems.</li><li>Experience with PLC&lt; troubleshooting complex machines, and reading electrical diagrams is a huge plus.</li><li>Electro-mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.</li><li>Ability to operate a PC using company software.</li><li>Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance when needed.</li><li>Strong competency in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics</li><li>Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.</li><li>Ability to use powered industrial equipment such as Forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to write routine reports, and correspondence internally and externally.</li><li>Strong Problem solving and reasoning skills.</li><li>Strong mathematical skills a huge asset.</li><li>Strong understanding of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, power sources, stored energy, pinch points.</li><li>Basic welding skills to assist when the need arises.</li></ul> CNC MACHINE REPAIR TECHNICIAN WORK SCHEDULE Your typical schedule at our machine shop is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
