What you'll be working on

This is precision machining and repair work supporting heavy mill equipment for the steel and metals industry — setting up and programming CNC lathes (plus manual lathes, mills, and profile machines), working from blueprints and written instructions to produce replacement parts and repairs, and rigging and transporting large components by crane. You'll compute cutting speeds, feed rates, and dimensions, pre-set your own tooling, and inspect finished work against spec before it ships.
