Position: CNC Senior Programmer Reporting Line: Machine Shop Manager Department: Manufacturing Location: Houston, TX Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the CNC Senior Programmer are to write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on CNC machines. This position will work to develop work holding devices and select cutting tools while creating and compiling necessary documents to aid setting up machines. Key Duties/Programming Responsibilities: US Citizenship Required Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for CNC program creation, proofing, and implementation. This position will support plant-wide Lean efforts, using real-time creativity and frugality to remove waste and improve NC programs, tools, and equipment. The Instructor will teach a variety of classes based on both manual and CNC lathes, mills and other equipment used in manufacturing.
