We’re looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer (Mid-Level) to help develop efficient manufacturing processes and documentation that ensure our customers receive high-quality, precision-machined components.<h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Develop complete manufacturing plans and shop traveler packages for machining projects.</li><li>Create and revise approved-for-manufacturing drawings from customer models.</li><li>Update traveler packages and attach prints to meet customer specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Machinists to achieve customer requirements.</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers on production inquiries.</li><li>Analyze and recommend improvements to processes, work instructions, and procedures.</li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a CNC machine shop environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T, blueprint reading, and scheduling.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and 3D modeling software.</li><li>Hands-on familiarity with machining processes: milling, turning, 5-Axis machining preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred (but not required).</li><li>Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).</li></ul><h3>Job Details</h3><ul><li>Full-time, on-site role in Itasca, IL.</li><li>Day shift with overtime available.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>PPO Health Insurance Plan.</li><li>401(k) with company match.</li><li>Paid holidays + vacation.</li><li>Annual vision reimbursement program.</li><li>Tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Climate-controlled, modern facility.</li><li>On-the-job training and mentoring included.</li></ul>✅ Join Tech-Max Machine and be part of a team where innovation, precision, and growth come together.
