The Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for custom machining, fabrication, and millwright projects. This includes interpreting blueprints, estimating labor and material costs, preparing customer quotes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. HIRING DEPARTMENTS: Swiss Lathes/ Grind (Flute) / Gundrill JOB TITLE: CNC Machine Operator SHIFT: 3rd Shift <ul><li>Benefits starting on Day 1</li><li>7% Shift Premium</li><li>Competitive Pay</li><li>Knowledge Based Promotions</li><li>Company paid Short- and Long-Term Disability</li><li>Company paid Life and AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>PTO and Company Paid Holidays</li><li>401K with Company Match</li><li>Climate Controlled, Clean Work Environment</li></ul> Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies <ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li><li>Math skills (decimals, fractions)</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings</li><li>Must understand the proper use and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment</li><li>Good interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Must have vision correctable to 20/20</li><li>Ability to distinguish color</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li></ul> A successful CNC Machine Operator will have knowledge in or be able to achieve the below Job Qualifications. <ul><li>Accurately inspect finished parts using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, or other equipment.</li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools</li><li>Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean and safe work environment is promoted and maintained.</li><li>Ability to read and understand process documentation and company procedures.</li><li>Ability to perform mathematics used to set up and operate machines and equipment.</li><li>Ability to observe machine operating conditions and identify potential issues that can result in poor product quality and machine breakdowns and correct in advance.</li><li>Ability to independently complete tasks assigned by others. Only unusual problems are referred to more experienced staff.</li><li>Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.</li><li>Maintains specifications by observing the manufacturing processes; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.</li><li>Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.</li><li>Operates machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications.</li><li>Make adjustments to machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances.</li><li>Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance.</li><li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, co-workers, and management members.</li></ul>Our Angola location is growing, and we'd love for you to join our team!
