After 6 months of employment, employees may enroll in the company 401k plan.Responsibilities* Programs Swiss CNC lathes using PartMaker software; calculates requirements, quotes cycle times, using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs*Oversee set-ups and daily operation of producing parts that meet blueprint specifications and tolerances*Supervise staff of 4 employees, mentoring and training· Sets up Swiss CNC lathe machines (Citizens and Tornos)· Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference places, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GS&amp;T)· Works with Engineering on new part production&nbsp;· Monitors parts through production by visual observation and dimensional measurement to ensure products meet specifications; performs any applicable deburring.· Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.· Performs preventive and general maintenance on machines, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.· Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.Qualifications· 5+ years Swiss CNC Machine set up experience in a manufacturing environment· 5+ Programming/set-up experience - strong experience using CAD/CAM software.
