Full Time&nbsp;HourlySalary Range:$20.00 To $30.00 HourlyJob purposeTo setup and run the Sodick Wire EDMs all the while maintaining part quality and production efficiencies. &nbsp;&nbsp;Duties and responsibilities<ul><li>Setup, operate and debug Sodick Wire EDMs.</li><li>Make machine tool offsets as needed to maintain part quality.</li><li>Make minor program changes to M &amp; G code as needed.</li><li>Identifies signs of tool wear and then makes the appropriate process or tool change(s).</li><li>Reads process sheets and mechanical drawings with the understanding of GD&amp;T.</li><li>Works on multiple machines and performs multiple tasks throughout the day.</li><li>Uses general measuring instruments such as; indicators, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, gage blocks, rules, protractor and height gages.</li><li>Enters inspection data into a computer software program.</li><li>Performs basic machine maintenance such as changing fluids and filters.</li><li>Maintains a clean work environment and machine work area.</li><li>Follows company written policy and documented procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience setting up and running EDMs or minimum 3-5 years of experience setting up and running CNC Lathes and Mills or Technical Training College with the focus of study being CNC setups and operation.</li><li>Ability to read blue prints and knowledge of GD&amp;T a must.</li><li>Knowledge of&nbsp;Esprit programs with understanding of cutting parameters.</li><li>An understanding of both the Metric and English measuring systems a must.</li><li>Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment.</li><li>High School Diploma or Technical Training Certificate.</li></ul>Working conditions<ul><li>Working in production environment.</li><li>Required exposure to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. &nbsp; NOTE: &nbsp;All safety precautions will be used.</li><li>Requirement for some independent actions and/or decisions is expected.</li><li>Required to work in a non-air-conditioned setting.</li><li>Some repetitive motion required on occasion.</li></ul>Physical requirements• Required daily: periodic lifting of materials and parts weighing up to 70 lbs.• Required intermittent long periods sitting and standing.Arnold Magnetic Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic. &nbsp;Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/General Identity/Disability/Veteran#ROC
