We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with 3-5+ years experience to set up, maintain and operate Mazak CNC machines including Turning Centers/Mill-Turn Centers and Vertical Milling Centers. You will ensure the efficient setup and operation of a high mix of machined components using the latest cutting tool technologies. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. CNC Machinist

The 5-Axis CNC Machinist Team Lead position is collaborative, innovative and detail oriented. The Machinist will need to know the many aspects of machining from, setup, speeds, feeds, tooling, code and troubleshooting the machine. Team Lead will be working with the programmer to help improve machining and deliver feedback on run times. They will be managing their team and scheduling the work for each day. They will be communicating with the production manager to understand production goals and scheduling to determine which jobs to run first. The team lead will be responsible for the quality and timing of each 5-axis team member. 5-axis Lead Machinist

Pace Engineering, Inc. is a manufacturer of machined components for the earthmoving, mining, and construction industries located in Willoughby, OH. We are seeking CNC Lathe Setup Machinists for all shifts. CNC Lathe Setup Machinist tasks include:<ul><li>Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.</li><li>Prepares work assignment by organizing tools, tool holders, supplies, and materials.</li><li>Sets-up CNC lathe for close tolerance machining by studying drawing, downloading computerized instructions, reading M and G code, and makes minor modifications to program to ensure tolerances are achieved.</li><li>Loads raw material slugs and operates CNC lathe to machine parts.</li><li>Monitors CNC lathe to ensure proper operation to machine defect-free parts.</li><li>Completes first piece inspection and obtains Inspector signoff.</li><li>Performs in-process part inspection by using calipers, mics, snap gages, and other precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Changes CNC lathe’s tools and inserts as necessary to ensure throughput and quality.</li><li>Enters daily production job results into data collection.</li><li>Documents work by signing-off on job router.</li><li>Cooperatively engages, instructs, and coaches other machinists as necessary throughout the day. Promotes a positive work environment and leads by example in all aspects of job performance.</li><li>Performs production-maintenance activities as necessary (wipe down exterior of machine, clean chips/spray-down machine internal, refill coolant/other lubricants, sweep area, empty scrap hopper, etc).</li><li>Other duties as assigned. &nbsp;</li></ul>The position requires standing continuously for up to four hours, the ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds, and walking throughout a multi-acre site.
