The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Perform final and in-process inspection of aerospace engine components
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using both CMM and manual inspection tools
• Create, edit, and correlate PC-DMIS programs based on prints and solid models
• Verify measurements using both CMM data and hard gaging methods
• Interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and customer specifications
• Ensure all inspected parts meet customer requirements for acceptance
• Identify non-conforming parts and complete required documentation for rework or disposition
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
• Work independently to troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

• Inspection Equipment: CMM machines
• Software: PC-DMIS
• Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, swing gages, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment

Materials You’ll Work With

• Aerospace engine components
• Precision machined metal parts (Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum)

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of inspection experience in aerospace or manufacturing
• Strong experience with CMM operation and PC-DMIS programming
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspection
• Experience building or calibrating hard gaging
• Aerospace manufacturing experience

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Pay Range: $26 – $36/hr (DOE)
Pay Notes: 15% shift differential for 2nd shift
