⚙️ What you'll be doing

  • Operate CNC mills and CNC lathes safely and efficiently
  • Load materials and monitor machining operations
  • Perform machine setups (experience considered an asset)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment
  • Verify parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
  • Monitor tooling and report wear or machining issues
  • Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the shop

Required

  • Previous CNC mill and/or CNC lathe operating experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

Preferred

  • CNC setup experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Experience with horizontal machining centers
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
