This position leads and directs Bargaining Unit Personnel.</li></ul>Specific Job Responsibilities/Competencies <ul><li>Responsible for all activities pertaining to departmental machining operations. Directs and controls activities such as: shop floor manufacturing, CAD/CAM interface, CNC Programming, and computerized Route Sheet Generation.</li><li>Assist machine operators in troubleshooting when needed.</li><li>Generates the CNC Programs required for production requirements.</li><li>Generates the Route Sheets required for production requirements.</li><li>Generates the Tooling Orders for all fixturing required for production requirements. And also, by assisting tool designers in predesigning the fixtures.</li><li>Generates Tool Requisitions for all none HI-LO items.</li><li>Assists Product Engineering in solving quality/manufacturing/design problems.</li><li>Manage and coordinate efforts to eliminate the root causes for monitoring and controlling scrap and rework costs.</li><li>Monitors safety problems and promote a safe work environment.</li><li>Administers a program of good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.</li><li>Monitors and controls ISO 9000 requirements were applicable.</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Educational requirements must include ten years' experience in manufacturing, manufacturing processes, shop floor control, graphics based C.N.C.
