As a fully integrated contract manufacturing business, all process steps are completed on site in AST’s 100,000 sq. ft. facility.&nbsp;AST is located in Oxnard California 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean and California’s Pacific Coast Highway.Working Relationships:Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering and Machine Programmers on proving out new machine programs.Works closely with Production Supervision to maintain output per production schedule.Capable of clear communication with other Technicians and Maintenance staff between shifts regarding spun part status and other machine information.Critical Skills/ Experience:&nbsp;Excellent math skills are required.&nbsp; Understanding of Lathe / Spin machine controls a must.&nbsp;Able to learn and comprehend the intricacies of spinning parts.Education:Relevant work experience is desired.&nbsp; Any formal education a plus, but not required.Rate:$30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
