Shift Schedules

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists (Mill or Lathe) to join our manufacturing team. This role involves setting up and operating single- and/or multi-spindle machines while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. Ideal candidates have hands-on CNC experience, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate single and/or multiple spindle CNC machines
  • Monitor and control machining processes using process control tools to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and interpret part prints and job orders, including dimensions, tolerances, inspection requirements, tooling instructions, cutting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut
  • Use machine controls to cycle machines through production operations, setup, tool changes, and adjustments
  • Review machine operating criteria such as cycle time and spindle RPM
  • Install collets, bushings, stock pushers, and load bar stock into feeding mechanisms
  • Install and adjust cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movement at each station
  • Change, position, and secure tools using tool monitoring systems and presetting equipment
  • Perform first-piece inspections per the operation control plan using approved measuring devices
  • Monitor part dimensions through in-process inspection and SPC tools
  • Maintain lubricants, coolants, and perform daily operator maintenance
  • Perform data collection and communication in Epicor (MRP) and other systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities such as brainstorming, C&E, and tool tryout sheets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • CNC Mill or Lathe experience required
  • Set-up experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for 10–12 hours per shift
  • Ability to use hands for handling tools, controls, and machine components
  • Ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch around machinery as needed
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis
