CNC Machinist – Automotive Performance Parts 📍 Salisbury, NC | Full-Time | $25–$29/hrJoin the team behind the fastest driveshafts in racing. The Driveshaft Shop is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to help manufacture precision components for the high-performance automotive and motorsports industries. If you're passionate about machining and want your work on track, this role is for you.<h3>🛠️ Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, with a focus on:<ul><li>Mazak 2-Axis CNC Lathes</li><li>Haas 4-Axis CNC Vertical Mills</li><li>Mazak Integrex 5-Axis Mill-Turns (advanced, less frequent)</li></ul></li><li>Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&amp;T symbols</li><li>Program and edit parts using Mastercam CAD/CAM software</li><li>Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to ensure quality standards</li><li>Collaborate with engineering to improve setups, reduce cycle times, and refine part designs</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines</li></ul><h3>✅ Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a production or custom shop environment</li><li>Hands-on experience with Mazak lathes, Haas mills, and/or Integrex machines</li><li>Proficiency in Mastercam and blueprint reading</li><li>Familiarity with GD&amp;T and precision measuring tools</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail</li></ul><h3>🏁 About The Driveshaft Shop</h3>Based in Salisbury, North Carolina, The Driveshaft Shop is a global leader in high-performance driveshafts and CV axles for the racing and performance automotive industry.
