The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines
  • Load, edit, and adjust G- and M-code programs
  • Machine parts to close and correlated tolerances
  • Set tooling, offsets, and workholding per setup instructions
  • Perform in-process checks and dimensional verification
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve setups
  • Work closely with engineering and programming teams
  • Maintain production schedules while upholding quality standards

This role requires strong mechanical instincts, attention to detail, and ownership of the work from setup through completion.

Machines, Controls & Shop Environment

You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility with access to:

Machines:

  • 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers
  • Advanced mill-turn and Swiss-type equipment

Controls:

  • G-code based CNC controls
  • Conversational controls (experience a plus)

Support Systems:

  • Strong engineering and programming support
  • Process-driven manufacturing environment

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience (job shop preferred)
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Fluency in G- and M-code editing
  • Proven setup, tooling, and offset experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
  • Comfortable working to tight tolerances
  • Strong communication and professionalism

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with 5-axis CNC machines
  • Conversational control experience
  • Exposure to aerospace, defense, or medical machining
