RMS Inc. is looking for a Lead CNC HBM Machinist - Night Shift to join our team. The Lead CNC HBM Machinist - Night Shift will supervise the night shift machinist while ensuring adherence to proper schedule and priorities with primary responsibility to drive production and quality. This role may also perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with drilling, threading (tap &amp; thread mill), boring, etc, while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls (Tosnuc) including A+ experience with cogsdill contouring heads and the use of right-angle heads. The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY Rotating Machinery Services, Inc (RMS Inc.) is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist to work 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) and perform a variety of machining practices involved in turning, milling, drilling, threading operations, etc. on rotating equipment components (pumps, turbines, compressors, and more) and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. He/ She will work with Engineering or programming to determine a sequence of operations on prototype parts using best known methods of manufacture. He/ She has the authority to make program edits when proving out the CNC code on prototype parts. He/ She loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position performs set ups and runs prototype and production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment. Utilizing advanced CAD/CAM software and a variety of CNC and manual machining tools within the Bioengineering Core, this role directly contributes to our mission of advancing medical research and improving patient care. Job Duties Fabrication: <ul> <li>Chooses appropriate methods for operating machines and monitors them during the machining process, which includes:</li> </ul> Machine Setup and Precision Machining: <ul> <li> Independently sets up and operate CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts according to detailed specifications.
