ITD - CNC Machinist Job Overview: CNC Machinists are skilled in setup, programming, and operation of CNC machine tools and the development of fixture placement and tooling processes. They possess the skills of a setup technician operation and programmer. They may specialize in the use of any type or multiple types of CNC machine tools. They will study printing, selection of material, establish plans for machining operations, understand machine programming languages, and have skill using computer aided manufacturing software.
