The 5-Axis CNC Mill Machinist plays a critical role in producing complex, tight-tolerance medical components where precision, repeatability, and quality directly impact patient safety.

The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC milling machines with minimal supervision
- Perform tooling changes and manage offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
- Run multiple machines and manage production throughput effectively
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and vision systems
- Hold tight tolerances required for medical manufacturing
- Deburr, buff, and finish parts to print specifications
- Troubleshoot machining issues independently and make necessary corrections
- Complete production documentation accurately to maintain full traceability
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and uphold 5S standards
- Support other machinists and assist with training as needed

- Thread, ring, plug, and pin gages

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of 5-axis CNC milling experience (or journeyman-level skills)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Solid understanding of shop math and precision measurement
- Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling materials up to 30 lbs
Preferred (Not Required):
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Experience running multiple 5-axis machines
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S environments
