The opportunities range from learning on conversational mills and lathes all the way to programming and operating high-end automated 5-Axis milling machines.What you’ll do<ul><li>CNC Machining: Efficiently operate a lathe, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill to machine parts.&nbsp;</li><li>CNC Setup and Operation: Follow a setup sheet or look at a program on CAM and set up a job.&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate a part and come up with a plan to effectively make it<ul><li>Experience with HAAS, TRAK, or Heidenhain is a plus.</li></ul></li><li>CNC Programming: Program 5-Axis milling machines with CAM software such as Fusion 360</li><li>Inspecting your work and adjusting tool and machine offsets to make sure the parts are correct.</li><li>Cutting tool and toolpath knowledge: You may be given the opportunity to push the limits of current cutting tool technology.&nbsp;</li></ul>What you need to thrive in this role<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.&nbsp;</li><li>Prior experience operating and setting up CNC Mills or Lathes (CNC&nbsp;lathe, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill).&nbsp;</li><li>CNC Programming experience preferred (BUT NOT NECESSARY).&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&amp;T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.</li><li>Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.</li><li>Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.</li><li>Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.</li></ul>About us and what we offer youARCH team members play an important part in making a positive impact on lives worldwide—and they do it in a positive work environment.
