We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join the mill department at our rapidly growing precision aerospace machine shop in Clarksville, IN.Required Technical Skills:- Must have 5+ years of fluent Mastercam 2023 experience - 3 axis VMC with rotary attachment required, 4 axis HMC (tombstone) required, and 5 axis experience qualifies for higher pay- Must have 5+ years of fluent experience with Haas &amp; Fanuc control machines- Must have experience holding tolerances of +/- 0.00025" or less in a production environment- Must be able to practice lean manufacturing, meet deadlines as quoted, and follow shop process- Must be willing to lead a team of setup personnel and operators, and ensure that company goals, policies, and standards are upheld by all. This job requires you to hold a leadership role in some capacity.Other Qualifications:<ul><li>Must have strong attention to detail.</li><li>Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints</li><li>Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise</li><li>Ability to work independently and closely follow directions</li><li>Must have a positive and professional attitude</li><li>Available to work weekends and overtime</li><li>Capable of standing for extended periods of time</li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time</li></ul> About the Company:At SIMS, you will work in challenging yet family-like environment committed to the future.
