Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines in a production environment and adjust settings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret blueprint dimensions accurately, in order to manufacture parts within specifications.</li><li>Inspection: Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts are within specified tolerances.</li><li>Adherence to Policies and Guidelines: Adhere to machining policies, Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO standards, and safety guidelines for compliance and quality assurance promptly reporting and resolving non-compliance issues.</li></ul> Performance Objectives: Within 60 days: <ul><li>Minimize defects and errors in the production process through careful attention to detail and precision.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Develop proficiency in handling various tools used in CNC machining, including loading, unloading, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul>Within 90 days to one year: <ul><li>Operate machinery efficiently to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines. </li><li>Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement in machine operations. </li><li>Consistently meet production schedules and deadlines by efficiently managing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.</li><li>Actively seek opportunities for learning and skill development related to CNC machine operation, including attending training sessions and studying relevant documentation or manuals.</li></ul> Position Requirements <ul><li>Ability to operate CNC machines with precision and thoroughness to meet quality standards in a production environment.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications.</li><li>Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations.</li><li>Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints.</li></ul><ul><li>Effective communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate on problem-solving.</li><li>Efficient prioritization and time management skills to meet production schedules.</li></ul> Preferred <ul><li>Work flexible and extended hours as needed.
