Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or other machinery) to produce parts according to blueprints and technical drawings. • Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance and output quality. • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures. • Record and document production activities and maintain logs of machine performance. Requirements: • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role and experience with wood materials. • Strong understanding of machine shop mathematics, CNC operations, and blueprint reading. • Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues. • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Good physical condition and ability to lift and handle materials.
