Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm to 5:00 am and Friday 2:00 pm to 2:00 am

Triad Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines in the wood department to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32" and use of micrometer, ability to pull in programs from server to machine, set up machine and tooling, identify wood sheet materials, run programs, measure and quality control parts, handle and stack parts on pallets.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or other machinery) to produce parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures.
• Record and document production activities and maintain logs of machine performance.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role and have experience cutting wood materials.
• Strong understanding of machine shop mathematics, CNC operations, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift and handle materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with multiple CNC machine types (lathe, mill, etc.).
• Technical training or certification in CNC operations or machining a plus.

Salary range

  • 26-30 / hour
