Position Summary Sets-up and operates all machinery within the shoe department, including all fabrication equipment, plating and piston/shoe assembly equipment if the cell is expanded to include those operations. It is understood that in a working department, the specific machines and equipment are subject to change, as well as individual machines/equipment may be added or removed. Position Summary:<ul><li>The primary responsibilities of this Lathe/Saw position are to feed our segment production line. </li><li>Rough &amp; finish mill twin screw extruder conveying segments.</li><li>Finish mill twin screw extruder kneading segments.</li><li>This position may be trained and moved to other work centers according to customer and company needs.</li></ul>Essential Functions:<ul><li>Setup and run CNC lathe along with automated saw.</li><li>Setup and run multiple Mazak &amp; Doosan Vertical Mills.</li><li>Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards &amp; accuracy</li><li>Perform minor equipment maintenance</li><li>Comply with standards and procedures</li><li>Complete required paperwork as necessary</li><li>Perform other job responsibilities as required</li><li>Operating multiple machines simultaneously</li></ul>Knowledge / Skills / Experience:<ul><li>HS education and 2 years of related experience.</li><li>Understanding of precision manufacturing tools and their proper use.</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude</li><li>Knowledge of GD&amp;T symbols and tolerancing along with basic blueprint reading</li><li>Ability and willingness to follow directions and work independently as well as with team</li><li>Good verbal communication skills</li><li>Positive attitude and the ability to work in a highly motivated, team driven environment</li></ul> CPM Acquisition Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
