Job Description The CNC Machine Operator (HAAS) is an operations team member with the primary goal of satisfying customer requirements of quality, and delivery, by operating CNC machining centers in a safe and efficient manner. The duties include the operation of CNC machining centers that are commensurate to industry standards, with regards to program edits, setting up of tooling, and setting up the machine tool in general. Secondary deburring and packaging of finished parts, along with moving products to appropriate locations via appropriate equipment (i.e. fork lifts, cranes, pallet jacks) is required. Company forklift training is provided. Newer HAAS machining centers with integrated probing and network communications. Part sizes range from small (less than 1/4lb) to large (2000lbs). Machine Operator - CNC Machining (Weekend Shift)

Wausau Window and Wall Systems POSITION SUMMARY Set up and operate saws and cut materials in the production of frames, trim and window sections in a safe and efficient manner. POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Set up and operate all saws to cut miters, compound miters and square cuts in a safe, quality focused and efficient manner.</li><li>Update or mark out master print on each job for all parts cut.</li><li>Set up saws to be used for all die sizes and shapes including the use of fixtures and blocking. Basic blocking should be made and set up by operator.</li><li>Compliance with quality system requirements including first piece inspection of all parts and every five pieces after that on a typical run. Make adjustments as required to assure that all parts are within quality specifications. Understand and utilize the use of protractors, squares, tape measures, etc.</li><li>Familiarization with dies and visual inspection of material quality before and after cutting.</li><li>Notify supervisor and lead of part shortages or related problems as required.</li><li>Perform simple maintenance on production equipment as necessary. Notify supervisor and lead when machines are not working properly.</li><li>Adhere to established safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all associates.</li><li>Adhere to established policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Support Six Sigma/Lean and the continuous improvement process.</li><li>Proficient use of computer systems and intranet functions.</li><li>Undertake job responsibilities in a manner of consistent with the company's Core Values.</li><li>May be required to perform other company duties as needed and assist in other departments as requested.</li></ul>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel is not required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Distances and Heights: Work station is ~30 feet x 20 feet. Receiving is ~40 feet from work station. May need to walk around more depending on task.
