3rd Shift CNC Set-Up Operator

manufacture of precision instruments, throttles, marine products, and accessories.

Position Requirements:

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mill Machines, Haas, Cincinnati, DMG and Mori Seiki Mills.
• Confirms conformance of finished work specifications per ICP with calipers, height
  gages, thread gages and micrometers.
• Run Sanding Machine.
• Cut material on Saw.
• Keep material organized.
• Identify material defects and deficiencies.
• Review blueprints, machining sequence and dimensions.
• Fill out inspection forms and measure parts with various measuring tools
• General knowledge of G&M Code.
• Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects/work independently.
• Advise supervisor of issues that arise.
• Ability to do offset changes, cutter compensation, etc.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions,
  irregularities and continuing needs.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

• High School Diploma, Certification or Associate's Degree
• Frequently able to lift or move up to 25lbs.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends when necessary.
