Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Read and interpret prints and complete advanced calculations required for machining parts to specifications</li><li>Program, set-up, edit and operate CNC mills and lathes based on engineering specs, blueprints or design drawings</li><li>Process quality parts while meeting scrap standards</li><li>Perform in process measurements and inspections</li><li>Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machines</li><li>Ability to tool build up/setup</li><li>Perform tool prep, handiwork, grinding, cleaning holes, labeling and zero corners</li><li>Basic understanding of 2D and 3D use of Mastercam and creating work coordinate systems, tool creation</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines including proper use of PPE</li><li>Keep work area clean and organized</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul> Required: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center or Technical Trades Training)</li><li>Two or more years of related experience</li><li>HAAS CNC mill and lathe experience</li><li>Mastercam 2D &amp; 3D programming experience</li><li>Solidworks experience</li></ul> Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. CNC Programmer/Machinist

As a CNC Machinist you will be hands-on involved in composite projects working within a team-oriented environment. The CNC machinist will be consistently using new processes and materials to serve our customers in aerospace, defense, and other industries. The CNC Machinist can also expect to do fixturing, set ups, and operates CNC machinery to fabricate complex carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite parts and components. What you get to do! <ul><li>Perform CNC Operations, to include machine set-up for 3 and 5 axis vertical and horizontal milling capabilities</li><li>Operate machines in accordance with internal process and any other required paperwork (i.e., drawings, specifications, etc.)</li><li>Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to manufacture products that meet quality requirements</li><li>Inspect and verify work to ensure it meets specification requirements</li></ul>What you will bring to the Team <ul><li>Skilled Trade/ Technical Certification (preferred)</li><li>At least 5 years of experience with manufacturing using CNC machines</li><li>Ability to read &amp; understand blueprints and technical documents</li><li>Must have the ability to recognize there is no one size fits all approach to machining</li><li>Must be able to rethink how work is done to make modifications and improvements to products</li><li>Able to multi-task and operate in a complex environment</li><li>Proficient with inspection gaging (Calipers, Micrometers, indicators, etc.)</li><li>Basic computer knowledge</li><li>Must be able to read, speak, write and understand basic English</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals</li><li>Must have the ability to recognize there is no one size fits all approach to machining</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form</li><li>Must be able to rethink how work is done to make modifications and improvements to products</li><li>Able to multi-task and operate in a complex environment</li></ul>The BIG payoff We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.
