The Work You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (3, 4, and 5-axis)
- Program parts from scratch using Mastercam or Fusion 360
- Load, run, and edit CNC programs at the machine
- Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding setups
- Machine prototype and low-volume aerospace components
- Hold tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better)
- Perform first-article and in-process inspection
- Use micrometers, calipers, and CMM for inspection
- Troubleshoot toolpaths, offsets, and machining issues
- Optimize feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and other machinists

- Machines: CNC Mills (3, 4, 5-axis), CNC Lathes
- Controls: Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol
- CAM Software: Mastercam (preferred), Fusion 360
- Programming: G-code (machine-level edits required)
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, CMM

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 7+ years CNC machining experience
- Experience with mills and lathes
- Strong CAM programming skills (Mastercam or Fusion 360)
- Ability to program parts from scratch
- Blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
- Strong understanding of setups, tooling, and offsets
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and inspect parts
- U.S. Person status (ITAR requirement)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Multi-axis machining experience (4/5-axis)
- Aerospace or defense machining experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 environments
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazatrol controls
- Vocational or technical training
