The Work You’ll Be Doing

• Machine complex aerospace and defense components
• Work on prototype parts, structural components, and low-volume assemblies
• Run high-mix jobs with frequent setups and job changeovers
• Program and support machining using Mastercam or Fusion 360
• Perform machine-level G-code adjustments when needed
• Set up CNC mills and lathes (3, 4, and 5-axis)
• Select tooling, establish offsets, and define machining setups
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and CMM systems
• Hold tight tolerances (typically ±0.001” to ±0.0005”, down to ±0.0002” on select features)
• Collaborate with engineering, programming, and quality teams
• Own jobs from setup through final inspection
