โ๏ธ What you'll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate wet, band, and circular power saws
- Cut raw materials to specified lengths and contours using work orders and engineering drawings
- Install appropriate saw blades based on material type
- Set stop gauges, saw speeds, and indexing mechanisms for accurate production
- Review work orders, drawings, and inspection requirements before beginning each job
- Verify finished parts meet dimensional and quality specifications
- Monitor material quality and report defects or non-conformances
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures

โ What we're looking for
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience operating industrial power saws or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to read work orders and engineering drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Experience using measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
- Experience working with composite materials
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Forklift or material handling experience
