Relativity Space is redefining what’s possible with additive manufacturing and CNC machining—and we’re looking for Manufacturing Engineers of all levels to join our growing Engine Manufacturing team. You'll play a critical role in developing the processes, documentation, and tooling strategies that transform 3D-printed Inconel parts into flight-ready rocket components.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Create Process Plans, SOPs, Inspection Plans, and Workholding Designs
• Optimize machining processes for 5-axis parts and hard metals like Inconel
• Recommend and implement new technologies and methodologies
• Support design teams with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback
• Translate GD&T and datum structures into real-world manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining process issues at the speed of production
• Investigate non-conforming hardware and implement corrective actions

✅ What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of progressive CNC machining experience
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Experience with CAD and CAM software (e.g., Esprit, SolidWorks)
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodology

• Experience with metrology and dimensional inspection methods
• Fixture design and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Exposure to 3D-printed metal components and/or Inconel
• Previous aerospace or fast-paced manufacturing environment
