Why This Role Exists

This role exists to support continued production demand and capacity growth at Ichor Systems’ precision machining operation in Osakis.

In this position, you’ll contribute to the production of high-precision components used in advanced manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and repeatability.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Operate CNC Swiss-style and other machining equipment
• Load parts, monitor cycle performance, and make basic adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install tooling and set/verify tool offsets
• Perform in-process inspection using standard measuring tools
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust as needed
• Troubleshoot minor machining issues and escalate when required
• Communicate process issues with supervisors and team members
• Complete required documentation and system entries

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

• Machines: CNC Swiss machines, lathes, and mills
• Controls: Fanuc-type environments (typical)
• Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, depth mics, basic CMM
• Quality Systems: GD&T, SPC

• Aluminum
• Stainless Steel

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 1+ years of manufacturing or machining experience
• Basic CNC machine operation experience
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Comfortable using basic inspection tools
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with Swiss machining
• Experience with mills or lathes
• Troubleshooting and machine adjustment experience
• 2-year machining or technical degree

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Pay Range: $17.12 – $29.09/hr (DOE)
Pay Notes: Includes weekend shift differential
