The four-day core schedule gives you consistent 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with Friday work only as production needs require. ⚙️ What you'll be doing
- Set up and operate CNC machines and occasional manual machine tools
- Read job packets, layouts, blueprints and CNC programs
- Load and unload steel materials and machined parts
- Adjust tooling and offsets as required
- Measure and inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges and other inspection tools
- Record production and inspection data accurately
- Perform side operations during machine cycles
- Complete daily machine maintenance and escalate larger maintenance needs
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and support quality and productivity goals across shifts

✅ What we're looking for
Required
- Experience in a job-shop or production-machining environment, including full setups
- Ability to read blueprints, CNC programs, job packets and operational layouts
- Skill with calipers, micrometers, gauges and other basic inspection tools
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and critical-thinking ability
- Ability to work with limited supervision while meeting quality and performance requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Degree or training in Machine Tool Technology
- Manual machining experience
- Equipment repair and maintenance experience
