About us
Virnig Manufacturing began in a two-car garage outside Pierz, Minnesota, in 1989. Dean and Lois Virnig first focused on repair work for local farmers and construction companies, and the business quickly grew through strong craftsmanship, reliable service, and a commitment to doing right by customers and employees.
Within five years, the Company expanded into manufacturing skid steer attachments and dump trailers and moved into a larger facility. Ongoing growth led to several expansions through the
1990s and early 2000s, including the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Rice, Minnesota, in 2001.
Significant additions followed in 2010, 2014, and 2021, creating dedicated space for automation, powder coating, engineering, and office operations. In 2021, Virnig further expanded by purchasing a 62,000-square-foot facility in Pikeville, Tennessee, which became operational in 2022.
In 2025, Virnig acquired an 84,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fort Madison, Iowa. Fort Madison represents an important investment in the Company's future and complements our existing manufacturing locations in Minnesota and Tennessee.
Today, Virnig's facilities support every part of the manufacturing process, including engineering, cutting, machining, welding, assembly, and painting. While the Company has grown substantially over the years, our commitment to quality, innovation, safety, and people remains at the center
of everything we do. We believe our success is built on the dedication of our employees, and we are committed to fostering a workplace where individuals are treated with respect, supported in
their development, and empowered to contribute to our shared success.
