CNC Milling Manager
Introduction
You lead teams that move fast, stay precise, and understand the cost of getting it wrong. At Safespill, CNC machining isn’t just a support process — it’s core to delivering fire protection systems that safeguard hangars housing fifth-generation fighter jets, strategic bombers, and commercial aircraft critical to global travel. When we’re late, our customers feel it — and you take that responsibility seriously.
You don’t lead by being the fastest on the machine — you lead by teaching, by building trust, and by developing operators who are sharp, disciplined, and confident. You track the numbers — cycle times, tool life, scrap — and use them to drive efficiency without chaos.
You know the right machine is the one that delivers consistent speed, accuracy, and ROI — not the one with the flashiest spec sheet. We run HAAS machines because they work. And as we expand into wire EDM and aluminum profile machining centers, you see opportunity — not complexity — and move quickly to integrate new capabilities into a smooth-running process.
You recommend better tooling, optimize setups, and work with vendors when it makes sense. But you don’t waste money — you weigh every upgrade against cost, quality, and time.
Does this level of pressure — and ownership — intimidate you, but also drive you? You might be humble and confident enough for this role.
