What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and tool design documentation.
• Fabricate, modify and assemble tooling and components to precise specifications.
• Operate Hurco CNC machines (conversational programming) and manual equipment such as the Bridgeport Series 1, lathes and drill presses.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machinery.
• Design and create fixtures to improve machining repeatability and efficiency.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to supervisors.
• Use hand and power tools for a variety of manufacturing tasks.

What we're looking for

Required

• At least 5 years of hands-on machining experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience operating CNC machines through conversational programming.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day and lift at least 45 lbs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Ability to work well on a team, with strong organization and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience on a Hurco CNC machine.
• Willingness to mentor others and support their skill growth.
• Comfort in a fluid, dynamic shop environment and a commitment to continuous learning.

Pay, benefits and schedule

• Pay: $30–$35 per hour
