
CNC Machinist
The CNC Machinist is responsible for developing quality programs that run as efficiently as possible with the least amount of down time as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program effective and efficient tool paths
- Ensures team is aware of any issues, whether it be for timing of program or machine run time
- Pre-programming reviews
- Create tooling requests for the tooling that is to be used on their machine
- Setup work pieces (core, cavity, components, etc.)
- Responsible for the quality of the products they are cutting
- Meeting deadlines for jobs assigned to them
- Record machine down time
- Maintain a clean and organized working area
- Alert management of any possible issues with programming or machine “up-time”
- Proficient in Fusion 360 software
- Excellent attitude towards the company in which they are employed
- Work in a professional manner and be mindful of other employees
- Work required hours as per current workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Promote a team atmosphere within the department, where all activities are done in a consistent, cohesive manner and meets given deadlines
- Continuously keeping up with industry standards and new trends
- Eagerness to be educated on new industry trends
- Perform all other related duties as set out by management

Summary
As a Quality CNC Machining Technician, you will be essential in ensuring precision and quality in our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality components. Your premium skills in CNC programming and GD&T will enhance our machining capabilities, while your relevant experience in quality control and fabrication will ensure adherence to industry standards. Strong communication skills will be vital as you collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with CNC programming and CAD software
- Knowledge of GD&T and CAM programming
- Strong background in manufacturing and quality control processes
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a team environment
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
