This position focuses specifically on CNC horizontal milling. You’ll work independently once a job is set up, make offsets, monitor tooling and part quality, inspect your own work and troubleshoot issues before they become bigger problems.

Even better, the day shift runs four 10-hour days — giving you a three-day weekend every week.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate CNC horizontal machining centers
• Independently manage jobs from start to finish after setup
• Make and adjust machine offsets
• Understand and apply different offset types
• Work with cutter compensation
• Read and interpret blueprints and part features
• Inspect your own parts throughout the machining process
• Identify dimensional and cosmetic defects
• Troubleshoot machining issues before escalating them
• Maintain high standards for precision and part quality
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the production team

Required:

• 3+ years of CNC machining or CNC machine operating experience
• Experience operating CNC horizontal mills
• Ability to independently run a job after setup
• Ability to make and adjust offsets
• Understanding of cutter compensation
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to inspect your own work
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to recognize dimensional and cosmetic defects
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, organized and able to communicate effectively
• Positive attitude and team-first approach
