This role exists due to continued growth and increased production demand, including long-term programs supporting the aerospace and defense industries.

C&M Precision Tech has recently launched a dedicated 2nd shift and is building a strong team of CNC machinists who take pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship. These roles are critical to maintaining throughput, quality, and on-time delivery across high-volume production programs.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Operate and/or set up Swiss-style CNC machines and CNC lathes
• Run high-volume, repeat production jobs
• Load and verify CNC programs
• Set tooling, offsets, and workholding
• Monitor processes and make necessary adjustments
• Perform in-process checks and basic inspections
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards
• For senior candidates: provide guidance or leadership on shift

Machines, Controls & Equipment

You’ll work with industry-leading equipment, including:

• Swiss Machines: Citizen, Star
• CNC Lathes: Eurotech
• Features: Live tooling, bar feeders, multi-axis capability
• Tolerances: Regularly holding ±0.0001"

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• CNC machining experience (Swiss and/or CNC lathe)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
• Comfortable running production parts independently
• Strong attention to detail and process consistency

Preferred (Not Required):

• Setup experience
• Experience with Citizen, Star, or Eurotech machines
• Leadership or team lead experience
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing background
