This Week in CNC Machining Jobs – July 1, 2026
Every week we look through the jobs that have been posted on hireCNC and pull out a few that we think are worth your time.
Not every opening makes the list.
These are simply a few shops that stood out this week.

Viant Medical Continues to Hire Across Multiple Locations
Viant Medical has several machining positions open right now in Massachusetts, Indiana, and Illinois.
If you've been looking for medical machining, this is probably one of the better opportunities on the site at the moment.
They're hiring CNC Machinists, Swiss Machinists, and 5-Axis Mill Machinists depending on location.
A few things we like:
- Medical device manufacturing with tight-tolerance work
- Swiss, multi-axis and 5-axis opportunities
- Clean, climate-controlled facilities
- Day-one benefits
- Multiple shifts available
Medical machining isn't for everyone, but if that's the type of work you enjoy, these roles are definitely worth a look.

Wilson Machine & Welding Keeps Growing
Wilson Machine & Welding has been adding equipment, expanding its fabrication capabilities, and continuing to invest in experienced machinists.
They're looking for CNC Machinists and Programmers across three Alabama locations.
What stands out here is the variety of work.
Large HBMs.
VTLs.
Multi-axis lathes.
CNC mills.
This isn't the type of shop where you're standing in front of one machine making the same part all day.
Another nice bonus?
Alabama doesn't tax overtime earnings, which can make a noticeable difference if you're someone who likes putting in extra hours.
They've also told us relocation assistance is available for experienced candidates.

Spirit AeroSystems (Now Part of Boeing)
One of the bigger aerospace opportunities on hireCNC this week comes from Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.
If you've followed manufacturing news recently, you probably know Boeing has completed its acquisition of Spirit.
For machinists, that means the opportunity to work on long-term aerospace programs backed by one of the largest manufacturers in the world.
Current openings include:
- Multi-axis CNC Machinists
- Multiple shifts
- Union environment
- Structured wage progression
- Relocation assistance based on distance and family size
If aerospace has been on your radar, this is a good one to check out.

Other Jobs Worth Looking At
A few additional shops currently hiring include:
- Gremlin Works (VA)
- Laitram (LA)
- MAAG (OH)
- Formidable Engineering Technologies (CA)
- Mettler Toledo (OH)
We also continue to see new opportunities added every week from both the U.S. and Canada.

Willing to Relocate?
One thing we've noticed over the past year...
Some of the best machining jobs aren't always close to home.
More employers are offering relocation assistance than ever before, especially for experienced setup machinists, programmers, and lead machinists.
If you're open to moving, it's worth filtering specifically for relocation jobs. It opens up a lot more options.

Looking for Something Different?
If these aren't the right fit, don't worry.
New CNC machining jobs are added to hireCNC throughout the week, and we send out this roundup every Wednesday to highlight a few that caught our attention.
Whether you're actively looking or just keeping an eye on the market, it's worth checking back regularly.
You never know when the right opportunity shows up.
