About Wilson Machine & Welding

Wilson Machine & Welding is a growing job shop CNC machining company operating across three Alabama locations. The shop specializes in large-part machining and supports high-demand industrial and steel-related work.

With a focus on independence and capability, Wilson Machine & Welding has built its reputation on hiring skilled machinists who can program, set up, and run their own jobs. The shop operates with minimal bureaucracy — machinists are trusted to take a job traveler and blueprint and produce accurate, high-quality parts.

Backed by continued investment, including a new fabrication facility coming online, Wilson Machine & Welding offers long-term stability and consistent work in a production-driven environment.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

Machinists at Wilson Machine & Welding work on:

  • Part Types: Large industrial components, steel parts, pipe mill components
  • Production Style: High-mix job shop work
  • Typical Tolerances: Precision tolerances based on large-part machining requirements
  • Programming & Setup: Machinist-driven — program in GibbsCAM or at the machine, then set up and run
  • Materials Machined: Steel, heavy components, large castings

This is not a button-pushing environment — machinists are expected to own their work from print to finished part.
