The Work You’ll Be Doing

Machinists at WALCO work on precision, build-to-print components requiring accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship.

You will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines (3-axis focus and beyond)
• Running contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping operations
• Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T requirements
• Setting offsets, tooling, and verifying machine setups
• Performing in-process and final inspection of parts
• Maintaining tight tolerances (typically precision-level machining work)
• Supporting continuous production and repeat job runs
• Collaborating with engineering, programming, and quality teams
